In comparison, 2013 to date, 34 cases had been assigned. In 2014 to date 50 cases (Gang Violence Response Team or GVRT) have been assigned to PPB. The Portland Metro area is currently experiencing an increase in gang related violence as compared to last year to date. Why you should care?
