The combination of excellent planning and an experienced emcee can be amazing, and this was no exception. When people left the room FedEx was literally picking up the boxes for transport! Each team worked together to put the art kits together by gathering the correct supplies, dividing them among hundreds of art kits, bagging and boxing them up, and finally packaging and mailing to clients across the country. With attendance at the event between 1,200 and 1,400 people it ended up being between 8 and 10 art kits per person! The meeting professionals at Thermo Fisher Scientific orchestrated a fun event that broke the group into small teams of 8 to 10 people each – every team had a table assigned by number. They gave away a staggering 12,000 art kits to adults and children throughout the entire United States. Thermo Fisher Scientific is one of the great American Companies based in Pittsburgh PA that really demonstrates their core values by “walking the talk.” We were invited to provide our President Wayne Bennett as an enthusiasm ambassador and general emcee for an event they designed and implemented.
